About the Homeowners Association
The Association has been in the homeowner's hands since 1987 and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The job of the TowneVillas South HOA Board is to ensure property values are maintained through fair and consistent execution of the Association's Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and By Laws. At TVS, our mission is to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood through management of common areas, enforcement of rules and covenants, support of initiatives that strengthen bonds among residents, and investment in capital improvements that benefit the greater good.
Board Meetings
The Board of Directors meets every other month on the second Tuesday of the even numbered months (e.g. February (2), April (4), etc.) and meetings are open to all members of the Association. Meetings are held at the Poquoson Library in the Group Study Room and begin at 6:30 pm.

2026 Annual Membership Meeting

The TVS Annual Membership meeting is usually held on a Saturday morning in April. Homeowners will receive a notice in the mail about three weeks before the meeting.

ARC Requests
Before beginning any project on your property, you must submit an Architectural Review Request form. Improvements that must be approved include: decks, patios, sheds, fences, walls, exterior lighting or any change to the exterior color scheme, major landscaping changes, or any other change to the existing look or footprint of the house or any additional structure to be placed on the lot. Solar panels are allowed, but must be approved through the regular Architectural Review process and must be placed in such a way as to minimize the visual impact on neighbors and the community.
